I have broad expertise in the Russian environmental conservation and indigenous rights movements and offer research, grants administration oversight, development, and non-profit consulting as well.

I am a translator specializing in Russian-to-English translation of environmental conservation, related sciences (fisheries, wildlife biology, conservation policy), and indigenous affairs. I have been translating professionally since 1999 with over 24 years of travel in and work with Russia and Ukraine, particularly in Siberia and the Russian Far East. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Russian Language with a minor in Linguistics.

In addition, I transcribe Russian and English audio and video for film and media production across a variety of industries (tech, arts, marketing). 

Concurrently, I am the director of The Altai Project (a project of Earth Island Institute). The Altai Project works to protect nature and strengthen communities in Altai Republic, Russia.
